My assigned Yuletide story, for koanju. It was an adventure; I wasn't anywhere close to finishing Persona 3 when I submitted my offer to write for it (a risk, I knew, but I figured I could get through it in time if necessary). In fact, I finished the game less than a week before the Yuletide deadline.
I think my only real problem with this is that I had a vision much too grand for the time I had to finish the fic. I got a good start - some cool ideas, some chunks of decent prose - down one night. The problem was that night was the night of the 18th, and the fic was due the next day, in which I only had a few hours to finish it. >_>
...I think it came out kind of neat, though I think I still would have preferred another few days or so to write a bit more and hack and edit. ^^;
