Housewarming game?
I am now officially moved in with

laylah and

mahokiwi! I continue to expect great awesomeness.

For now I am still getting settled - it was kind of weird being in the house after everyone had left this morning before work. (I get up somewhat late. >_>) Of course, there were still the four cats, who all gathered as I was getting ready. ^___^

The weirdness only increased when I got to work (maybe slightly earlier than usual, but not terribly) and no one from my team was there yet. o_O I have fallen into some sort of strange schedule gap! (...admittedly this was helped by the fact that my teammate who gets in at 7:30am is on vacation. I will never get in that early.)

Between that and the fact that the internet has done nearly nothing for like... a week (which I have of course contributed to) I think it's time for a game!

Give me two or more characters (crossovers more than okay) and I will give you a ~~sentence from the story~~ drabble where they are living together. For one reason or another. ^_^

It was too strange. It was stranger than the fact that she was here at all, attending school with normal people. Stranger than the fact that she was living here among them. Stranger than the fact people smiled at her as she walked down the hall.

That this girl would come knock on Chane's bedroom door and offer to share her homemade food – when she didn't even really know who Chane was – that was stranger even than the dish itself. All the parts of it were individually identifiable, but overall it was incomprehensible.

And yet Chane found herself liking both.

I suppose this is the part where I admit I have no clear idea how Graham interacts with the house at large? I barely have an idea of how he interacts with Ladd. When they're not trying to kill each other. ^^;; Also Graham strains my drabble wordcount. ...Nevertheless!

Ladd Russo played favorites. Everyone knew that, and it was good to be one of them. It was just – usually that happened after you were in AXM, not before.

Ladd slings an arm over the kid's shoulder. "Graham here's the best auto mechanic in three states."

One of the others goes, "Maybe you can help with the prank, then? We're gonne get the chancellor's car, and –"

"Dismantle it?" Graham interrupts. "Sneak in, dismantle the car, take all the pieces apart carefully, and –"

"Rebuild it on top of the building." Ladd grins.

"...if you want, Ladd." Graham says happily.

True, there was a lot of work to do, and Rossiu had been living at the office lately. But it was still worrying that he didn't notice Viral approach until he snorted, leaning against the doorway.

"What are you doing here this late?" Rossiu asked after finishing scribbling a note.

"I don't sleep. And you wanted to see me."

"Ah. Right. I just wanted to say you can leave the government, if you like. I know since Simon –"

"Like hell." Viral growled. "You're building a real military, right? You're an idiot if you think I'm keeping out of that."

For a first time out, it's not bad. The officer's barracks seem tolerable, at least, and Mitsuru's only sharing with one other so far – a Major Yoruichi Shihouin.

She grins when Mitsuru returns after her shift. "Long first day, Lieutenant?" She strips off her uniform coat and tosses it carelessly over her bunk.

"Yes. I expect it'll improve – I'm just a bit jetlagged, although the schedule here certainly is..." She trails off, because the major has just... continued stripping, until she's standing there without a stitch on.

"Alright?" Major Shihouin grins, like it's perfectly normal.

Mitsuru's face feels hot. "Fine."

Um, yeah, you don't know me. ^^; I actually found this journal yesterday and I've been reading through your various fics/drabbles. I just wanted to say that I really love them! <3 I especially love your crossover stuff, you've seriously given me some new pairings to oogle (hee, Akihiko x Tatsuki for one) and inspired me to write some of my own stories.

Anyway, I don't have a IJ (or any other blog) but...maybe I can comment here from time to time, if that's okay? I'm Allison, btw. And my AIM is alchemicalflames. So, that's basically all I wanted to say.

And if it's okay, I'd like to contribute to your game. Hee. How about...Yukari(P3) and Zuko(Avatar)? XD;;

*blushes* Thank you so much! It's particularly flattering that you mention crossovers, because I often feel like mine are infrequent and uninteresting compared to some other writers I like. ^^;

Of course I always welcome new readers! I have no plans to turn anonymous commenting off anytime soon, so if you don't want to make an IJ, as long as you sign who you are it should be fine!

And I have stalled a bit one these due to fatigue and other deadlines, but I will get to your drabble (and the others!) eventually, I promise. ^^;

Aww, I think your crossovers are awesome! In fact, I think you should try writing more full-length stuff like that AkixTatsuki story. X"D

That's good to hear, since people turn it off due to trolls. But IJ doesn't seem to have that problem so far as I can tell. And I'm not a troll, honest! ::Crosses heart::

And it's okay, take your time on the drabbles. I'll probably keep coming back to check to see if you've updated. Hmm. I could try making an IJ, but it might end up blank like this LJ I currently own that I use for commenting. We'll see. If I make one, I'll just let you know. ^.^ Anyway, good luck and congrats on your move!
